PAYMENT & BILLING INFORMATION
How do I know what I am responsible for at each visit?
All of Healy Physical Therapy?s Billing Representatives have extensive knowledge of the insurance billing process and are very successful at resolving billing issues with insurance companies. All of our claims are processed through our East Providence location. You can be rest assured that when you call our office you will get your questions answered by someone who really knows the business.
After your first call to our office, we will work directly with your insurance company and/or treating physician's office to obtain any necessary authorizations prior to the start of your treatment.
We will contact your insurance company for you to verify your benefits for physical therapy services and have that information for you at the time of your 1st visit. During the authorization process if we find out that you have a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or deductible we will call you before your first visit to inform you of your payment responsibility.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. As a courtesy to you, we will bill any insurance company. However, the assurance of payment for services is a patient responsibility. We will help in any way we can to assist you in handling claims.
